KETQ (93Q radio) relies on donations and underwriters, not commercial advertising dollars. In fact, our special, non-profit community radio license won't allow us to sell commercial advertising.
Our programming is designed to reflect the voice of the community with all its diversity and local flavor. It's radio the community creates and owns.
Community radio stations are the heart beat of a community.
Reaching a potential broadcast radio audience in excess of 100,000, and a worldwide audience online, 93Q radio is the best way to showcase the attributes of the Yuba City-Marysville region, and is a critical communication tool if there is a local or regional emergency or disaster.
Local talent in the arts and entertainment, local government and business trends and projections, and of course local history and news in the making--we cover them all.
Community radio covers local sports, and events that bring the community together.
